Online almost as long as Rileyguide, Sammy's Place was set up by a teacher in Florida to help other teachers find employment. No, this isn't a recruiter. It is a directory of links to all of the school districts in the state plus several other resources. There is no real contact information on the site, but he also doesn't run ads nor does he ask for your info. (Domain registration is public.) Oh, and Sammy was his Basset Hound.

This site is an excellent one-stop source for so much of what you need to execute a job search in the Dallas - Forth Worth area, but folks from other areas can also gain much from what is here. They start with a Calendar listing events like job fairs, workshops, networking, business-to-business and professional organizations, and more. Then they list hundreds of websites you can use according to what they are (aggregators, megasites, local job sites, industry/profession-specific, company research). They then give you a select collection of Files to help you get organized, create a resume, hone a 30-second spiel, network to a new gig, and much more.
Not all categories are active, but they are trying. They also list different meeting groups in the DFW area so you can find any or all you want to join (you don't have to limit yourself to just one). Don't skip their Tip of the Week either. This section is filled with great articles covering many job-search topics. The Humor section will give you a chuckle too. (I really liked this one.) CareerDFW is a registered non-profit organization incorporated in the state of Texas and your donation is fully tax deductible.
